Intro
Vampires and werewolves, the immortal, supreme, beautiful and gifted. I've been in love with their stories since I was a child and it was then that I started a love affair with fictional characters that has developed into a four part series of novels starting with my beloved Club Nosferatu.
Over twenty years of thought and character development has given me the opportunity to see each one of my characters as an individual person. They have their own strengths and weaknesses along with crazy personality quirks. They are as human as they can be with one extra feature, they are all immortal.
I've taken a new spin on my interpretation of vampires and wolves in modern society and applied them to everyday life resulting in a more 'human-like' personality that my reader's can identify with. The lives I have created for them are specifically designed to blend into humanity completing my illusion that vampires and werewolves could exist along side of us and in our every day lives.

Club Nosferatu ~ Kris
Club Nosferatu is the first of the series. It focuses primarily on Kris Maicoh, the patriarch of the vampire clan. Kris is a strong character with a deep connection to his dark past. I love his personality because he is edgy, to the point of being disliked but not quite. Kris's spirit is rich and full of family love and honor. His deep emotion ties to his father have instilled a solid idea of how a man should act and live but since his death, Kris has rejected the idea of trusting anyone. It's only when he is forced to pay attention to a feisty red haired woman named Blaze that his armor begins to fall off. She pulls Kris from his emotion coma and makes him realize that somewhere in his ageless chest is a heartbeat after all. But Club Nosferatu is not just about love. Kris is a killer and so is his family. I enjoy this aspect of vampires because it keeps you guessing as to how they may react in a certain situation. It isn't until he falls in love with Blaze that you see there is more to Kris as he becomes a devoted husband and father. He is the most complex of my characters and I only wish I could have spent more time on him. Thankfully, I still have three more books to write and plenty of time to add a few more peeks into the mind of one my favorite characters.
Native Nights ~ Trent
Native Nights is the second book and a story that is primarily focused on Trent Maicoh, brother of Kris. Trent has is own set of personality flaws but for the most part his a pretty nice guy. He's constantly focused on the family and reigning in his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Tawnie. Trent is definitely more romantic than his brother and isn't afraid to show it. He, like his family is a pretty intelligent guy but tends to over think things. I was looking forward to (and simultaneously dreading) him being the head guy in book two. It's nice to pull him to the forefront because typically Kris's personality overshadows Trent. I've kicked Kris off the island (they're on the island of Hawaii in this book) and have forced Trent to think outside of the box and take on the responsibility of the coven. I love Trent because he's so passionate. He is honest, open and completely devoted to his obnoxious sister Raven when everyone
else can't stand the sight of her. Trent is the most balanced of the Maicoh's.

Lost Souls ~ Gabriel
Lost Souls, the third installment is the story of Gabriel Maicoh, cousin to Kris. Without giving anything away, Gabriel undergoes significant changes in book two that make him a very colorful character in Lost Souls. This book is all about my darkest character and how he faces and battles his inner demons. Gabriel is mysterious, dark and angry (but quietly angry). It seems he's always on the edge of blowing up and going on some kind of murderous rampage. He is the 'hitman' of the coven and is asked and expected to carry out many of their least favorable tasks. But he doesn't mind, he's a hunter and a killer, without a conscience. Perfect mix. So why are you going to love Gabriel? He has a sad existence. His body carries the battle scars of his childhood where his father Niyol beat and tormented him relentlessly. He was the sole protector of his mother (until her death) and his younger brother Johnny; so he's devoted to family. He has a dark humor that only his family seems to understand, he's a loving 'Uncle' to Kris' children and finally, he's dark and grumpy but still very huggable, just don't piss him off.
(Untitled) ~ Johnny -CANCELLED INDEFINITELY
Fourth installment (untitled). This is the final book in the series and is surrounded by the least known character Johnny (Kris's cousin). Of the four Maicoh men Johnny is the kindest and mellowest. He is still vey in touch with his humanity and offers a different perspective to life than the other family members. He supports the co-existence of humans and immortals intensely and tries very hard to maintain his inner balance. If needed, Johnny is more than capable of holding his own but
he is what I consider a spiritual soul. He was sheltered by his mother, protected by his brother (Gabriel) and has grown to be a very solid, loyal and dependable member of the family. Johnny is the voice of reason. The best part about Johnny is I have given him a special vampire gift; he can place suggestive thoughts into the minds of humans at will. His suggestions can make or break the human spirit with just a word. Imagine the compliments or critique we get in the day that we have the luxury of brushing off. Johnny's victims cannot distinguish between opinion or fact. They embrace anything he tells them as truth. I had to give this monstrous gift to the most stable of immortals and that man is Johnny.

The plot has been developing as I have been moving forward. I'm happy to say it feels like a moving, living entity at this time. Even I'm not sure what the final outcome will be. I am giving my family scenarios and I write what I see and feel they would do. I hope that you enjoy the stories and I look forward to releasing all of the characters on to paper (and finally get them out of my head). Please visit my site, leave your comments and feedback. I'm always happy to hear from you.
